The science was too politicized: climate gate should have taught you that. We need to have independent NGOs investigating this.

Funded by whom? How can they be independent when they are paid for by private donors?

I know you're a fucking commie, go talk to Vee on youtube if you want to know what living behind the Iron Curtain was like. I was a communist too at one point, now i'm not.

You are doing it again. I don't know who vee is and I hate youtube. As for the Iron curtain that had nothing to do with communism and everything to do with the victory conditions of WWII and don't fucking deny it.

Well the stock market loves him and he's brought back manufaturing jobs through his mere presence in the white house.

So far. I'll even grant you this one. I can say that this is one good thing he has done so far. It is a big win for our people and there is no question about that. But what you and the rest of trump's loyalists aren't thinking about is, "What is the cost of that going to be?"

What price are we going to have to pay as a people to get jobs back here?

The free market... uh... finds a way. Donate to a foundation if you care so deeply about climate change: If it is happening because of humans, everything we're going to end up doing will be reparative. We don't have sustainable energy sources that are viable and you'd have a lot of pissed off Muslims if you cut off ties with the Saudi oil trade. I don't know if you know this, but Muslims tend to explode when unhappy.

Talk to Vee, he will tell you how much life sucked under communism. I dated someone who formerly lived in a communist country and they left for a real chance at accomplishing something with their lives. Communism requires an oppressor to rise up against and to violently conquer. Marxism is great for rallying popular revolts of the proletariat, but not much else. the whole reason their is a resurgence of all this is because the "flower children" are currently indoctrinating students with "critical theory" and "Social Justice courses". It's very cult like and disturbing to most everyone witnessing this metamorphosis of the current generation into professional agitators, Karl Marx didn't even consider himself a Marxist because he didn't believe the ideology was geared towards longterm success.

The "price", is having less people dependent on unemployment and welfare. We need minimal taxes and we need local communities to take over caring for their destitute. The federal government should only exist to protect the sovereignty of the nation state, it should not play the role of parent and caretaker. Ironically communism sterilizes the community and leaves all acts of charity as hollow obligations, AKA it is no longer a special act of kindness but rather compulsory theft.

Then the donors control it. The donors will control what the foundation finds and what it does not. This is a poor solution.

As for climate change, it is a reality. An indisputable geological and historical fact. They have found ancient ruins under water. Cities that used to be ports are now land locked. The Nile river was in ancient times much closer to Giza. Polybius goes off on a long discourse regarding the silt levels in Hellespont. Climate change is a fact. It's an ancient fact that has been with our species forever. It's not man made. It can't be. But that doesn't change the fact that our continued existence as a civilization hinges upon coming to terms with it.

So what? What do I care about past societies? I live in one where people can die in the waiting room of hospitals while some lazy fat functionary checks their papers!

This might be practical. But you can't just cut people off who have been relying on federal aid and welfare without coming up with a plan for what to do with them first. Phasing our government aid AFTER high levels of employment and better labor conditions have been achieved makes sense. Throwing people out in the cold after generations of bad federal policy made them fucking dependents in the first place is just stupid. It's not even cruel, it's just plain flat out stupid.
