I bought a fifth of coconut rum one summer evening, and was mixing it with cola just hanging out by myself watching something on Netflix. They hit the spot on that warm evening. I had intended to only have a couple of glasses, and that's all I remember having before I woke up.
The next morning, I woke up surprised to not be hungover, since my usual glass of water was missing from my nightstand. After making my way downstairs to the kitchen, I found something that took me a few seconds to process. There, next to the nearly empty rum bottle was a glass on the counter, full of mixed vegetables and water. After furrowing my brow for a good moment, I laughed because I realized what I'd done. Apparently, when making my glass of water at the end of the night, I'd filled the glass with frozen vegetables instead of ice, and still poured water over it. Seems I noticed before drinking too much of it, or it'd have made it to the nightstand.
