A few months ago I remember we were having a discussion about replacing Youtube, which is owned by Google, which is owned by Alphabet, which is owned by the Jews (or at least feeds a lot of your information to the NSA). Recently, Youtube has started requiring more scripts for their site to operate. Using NoScript, I only had to enable youtube.com and start the player for playback, now I have to enable youtube.com, ytimg.com, and googlevideo.com. It would be nice to have a video hosting site that didn't require anymore than 1 script and wasn't owned by Google, and it would be awesome if we could make it the standard video hosting site (similar to slimg) so that there would actually be content on it. Was a site like that every created? I remember at one point in the discussion, Liveleak came up as an alternative video hosting site, but I don't think anything ever came of that.

Partially because I want the videos associated with an account so they can browsed that way, but the big reason is for comments. Voat uses a login system, reddit does, youtube, giphy, vid.me.
I guess what shocks people is I put the upload button right there so people see the login screen a lot faster on my site than on others. That and youtube that also has a upload button aswell everyone already has an account for because it connects to the universal google account. That's the shit I'm done with. You really can make a nearly unlimited number of acounts including throwaways.
Note: still working on browsing videos by uploader

Yea its no problem making a throwaway I just wondered if there a technical or legal reason why image hosts allowed upload without login and video hosts don't generally. Thanks for the answer.
