Lol please ban them immediately! Nothing would bring me more joy than these shit heads wasting money over and over on accounts that can no longer downvoat. Keep wasting your money haha

They don't care. Plenty more where that came from.

If they were actually paying for it, I doubt they'd be so frivolous with its abuse. Don't forget that service was a theory that wasn't proven yet.

I'm certain these are paid accounts and not CTR or Eddit SRS/admin. CTR is focused on calling us neo-nazis and out of the blue heavily upvoated liberal articles. SRS is into obtaining mod powers, creating liberal subs, bans, the occasional DDOS attack, and posting of CP.

These, to me, look like paid accounts with no clear motivation yet. Simple sock puppet accounts planned for future use which screams paid posts/shills. The comments were pre-determined and all each have almost over a hundred upvoats which is exactly how many you need to obtain downvoat powers. We haven't seen heavy downvoating from shills but this may be an indication they are planning on digging deep into voat.

they get paid by upvoats, not for quality

And don't let them know they are banned. Maybe some sort of "spooky smokey" ban, or like a "black hole" ban, or "absence of light" ban, something like that.

Ban them sure, but fuck shadow bans. This is voat, not plebbit. If we let mods and badmins go without any accountability, we are just as bad as the reddit fags

I'm not sure I agree with your interpretation of the word "better". I'll totally agree it's greater contrast.

The bigger voat gets the more we assure this stuff is here to stay.

Reddit might die over CTR type stuff this cycle. I'm going there mostly out of habit or to search the archive on technical matters, and I was very active. It depends on show things settle. If none shills lose interest we'll see what happens. There are many niche communities that will be difficult to rebuild.

Thanks for the link. I went and gave some downvoats, which normally I hate to do, but this is what that button is for right.

I don't think I've ever seen a single comment get so many upvotes when the thread itself did not have as many or more upvotes the entire time I've been on this site. I don't think it's a page views problem, this looks like a clear cut case of someone attempting to bot their upvotes for accounts' future use while not upvoting the thread to keep the visibility to a minimum so they can get away with it. Those upvotes are not natural. Notice it's just enough to allow them past the downvote restrictions. Ban immediately I say.

Remember the admitted vote manipulator? I bet that person is attempting to bot up accounts to get them to 100 ccp so they can downvote, and then using those votes to manipulate downvotes. Watch, it'll start happening soon I'll bet money on it.
