No because it doesn't produce as much graphite as you think. It's a miniscule amount and most ends up in the filters and in this shaver vacum that filters air and graphite to recycle the air.

NASA loves risk mitigation. They would rather eliminate ANY graphite in the air than just say "eh, the filters should get it all. We will most likely be fine"
