I will only believe the Flat Earth Model if someone, maybe you, can actually go to the edge of the world and show everyone the drop off. Where's the real proof? What is there to gain by having people believe the Earth is an oblate spheroid versus a flat circle? How is this a viable conspiracy? Why not a cube or a cylinder? What gives Flat Earthers credential that they should be believed outside of anyone else? Flat Earth raises more questions and concerns than it answers.

Well I can only answer for me personally. I only believed this way for maybe three years. Before that I said to myself that is the stupidest conspiracy ever. Then I researched it for awhile, and now I have no doubt about it. Believe me I know how ridiculous it sounds cause I felt the same way, but I assure you if you really take it serious with an open mind an research it for at least 6 months. You will have no doubts either.

Sorry, no. I'm not ignorant and I don't listen to people who think "common sense" is a sound reason to believe flawed observation over repeatable and mathematically backed measurements. I've known about flat Earth theory since the 80s and never once has any bit of the "evidence" held up to even light scrutiny. If science can be called flawed and inaccurate, then so can the reasoning behind FE theory. I am educated and have lived long enough on this oblate spheroid we call Earth to know that I have been lied to about many a thing but the shape of the Earth was not one of them. Believe what you want whether it be religion, mythical creatures, traditional Chinese medicine, ghosts, astrology or psychic powers. You can choose for yourself what truths you wish to ignore but that does not change those truths one iota. We know now that natural phenomena like earthquakes, tornadoes and eclipses have understandable and measurable mechanisms underlying them so we no longer need to make up supernatural or superstitious causes for them. An inability to understand various aspects of physics and physical systems does not mean those aspects are incorrect. Not understanding science does not prove the Earth is flat nor does it constitute a conspiracy on anyone's part.
