I'll never understand why people buy stuff to do this. You know the guy just made some money off you buying his shirt no matter if it's to burn or wear.

The man has so much money that the price of a jersey will go unnoticed by him. However the power of the statement this kind of thing makes supercedes that cost

It's probably a 49rs fan, that had already sunk cost into a failed corporate image.

Could be self-made. Besides, that nigger is arrogant enough for a statement like this to make it chimp out.

You know what I want when I go to a sports bar? A nice healthy dose of politics.

Yeah nothing beats a cold beer and a pointless argument about the state of the world.

I find it to be fairly standard day time bar agenda. Politics with a smooth segway into religion at the appropriate time.

Sometimes I stop for a quiet beer on my way home, I just want to look at my phone and be left alone for the most part. Some light conversation is OK, but there is almost always some old asshole who wants to shout his feelings at me because the wife won't listen to them anymore.

Unfortunately there isn't any escape, politics has invaded the work place. I cringe when ever I hear my coworkers argue about Trump and Hillary and who's better. I wish everyone would just shut up so I can do my work in peace! Thankfully they dont try to engage me in this conversation as I told them all once that personally I think politics is one giant circus, and that regardless of who is elected, NOTHING will change for the better, and that the status quo will remain for the most part the same. I hate this state of what seems like hyper tribalism

That's nice, I don't care what my bar owner/tenders opinion on it is.

I'd rather him protest this way rather than blocking a fucking highway.

I wish people had similar outrage about things that really matter. Such as us losing our freedom after 9/11.

If September 11, 2001 was the day Americans lost their freedoms then I've never in my adult life known what freedom felt like

If you became an adult after 9-11-01, then you really have no idea what you lost.

The people that do this have as much right to do it as the players that kneel or sit during the anthem. In other words to the people that don't like it, fuck you.

It's a statement. They have a right to be butt hurt that Kap has an opinion and customers can walk right by their bar for them having an opinion.

This is a lot better form of protest than the Alabama Pastor who said that you should be shot for not standing for the anthem. http://www.rawstory.com/2016/09/alabama-pastor-tells-high-school-football-crowd-they-should-be-shot-if-they-dont-stand-for-anthem/

This! 100% this. I love my country, fear my government (or the sham that is now called gov't.). I am proud to stand for the anthem and it pisses me off when others don't. But they have that right in the land of the free.
