I've never lived in a place where there are no professionals, entrepreneurs, etc. it must be difficult. Sounds like an "escape the ghetto" scenario. A month isn't much time, so what are your plans when you get to the other town?

It's less "Escape the ghetto," and more "Graduate to a slightly nicer ghetto," but yeah, you've got the idea.

But honestly, I hadn't thought about what I'm gonna do after moving, and I thank you for bringing it to my attention. I was probably (definitely) gonna revel for a few weeks in a change of routine and the fact that I'm not surrounded by manchildren.

I know this is just a stupid saying, but "failure to plan is planning to fail". I think advance scouting of the situation there, jobs, whatever, would make sense. It might make your move happen more quickly if there's an opportunity or something. Excited for you to be turning a page in the book of life.
