People are being killed all over the world in the name of one religion. Are we going to keep pretending this religion's beliefs isn't at odds with our own written law?
If I owned a newspaper it's headline Saturday morning would have read 'Freedom of Religion' with a large picture of all the dead French in the road.
They are not allowing us freedom from their religion, and thus, do not belong in our countries that share this ideal.

It is more of a political ideology. Like say, communism. Within the quaran is not just instructions on how to worship, but how to live your life in the home, how to live your life in public, how to conquer nations who oppose you. It is a complete lifestyle document. And people should most certainly be protected from it.

By that accord, neither christianity or judiasm are religions either, because they have instructions on how to live your home life, your public life, conquer nations who oppose you, etc.

Communism isn't written in a book, and makes you bow down to a god. Communism is a political way of living. Islam is living by the teaching of their religion, which happen to include a political way of living.

Almost every religion has instructions on how to live your life. Even the Christian bible has rules on how to live like a Christian. Although most Christians don't follow or read their book as thoroughly as Muslims do.
