Billions of people vaccinated, and no appreciable health issues.

Anti-vaxxers start their shit, and in just twenty years we've had several outbreaks of diseases that were considered essentially eradicated.

"Insane" is definitely the right word.

Has nothing to do with mass immigration from third world countries?

Why would that be a problem?

Oh, you mean because they haven't been vaccinated? Wouldn't that still be supporting my point?

If someone opts out of vaccines, that's their right. But, I think they should also opt out of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory meds, otc painkillers, and all other modern medicine. Let them cull themselves and watch their babies die. It'll all come out in the wash.

What's insane is that Pharmacology companies hate vaccines for being unprofitable. The number of vaccine companies has only decreased, most companies are focused on long term prescription medication. A bottle of pills for constant disease management (notice it's not a cure) is way more profitable than a single shot. Vaccines prevent an illness, pills treat a symptom.

Vaccines are good, but there's way too many. Get the important ones.

Documentary. Unbiased well researched documentaries do not exist. They are all trying to convince you of one point or another.

I agree with your sarcastic statement sir.

As an anti-vaxxer I can only suggest there just might be some ignorance at play here on the pro-vaccine side. Especially if they have to resort to name calling.

They are of the mindset that if they made it through mostly unscathed, then it's safe for everyone. They never had to watch a toddler go from healthy and active to unable to speak and immobile - staring out at nothing. Now we have to deal with condescending assholes and the real threat of 3rd worlders being imported along with their diseases, because we aren't willing to risk the younger kids.

Quarantining and washing hands has done more than vaccines ever will.

  • Measles virus causes rash, cough, runny nose, eye irritation, and fever.
  • It can lead to ear infection, pneumonia, seizures (jerking and staring), brain damage, and death.

  • Mumps virus causes fever, headache, muscle pain, loss of appetite, and swollen glands.

  • It can lead to deafness, meningitis (infection of the brain and spinal cord covering), painful swelling of the testicles or ovaries, and rarely sterility.

  • Rubella virus causes rash, arthritis (mostly in women), and mild fever.

  • If a woman gets rubella while she is pregnant, she could have a miscarriage or her baby could be born with serious birth defects.

Its brain damage all the way down.
