China is growing in strength but it could collapse - it's so huge and there's a growing wealth gap. The "Communist Party" aren't actual communists anymore, but they are the equivalent of a "state political religion" so they don't match your ideal model either.

Interesting idea. I wonder how well such a country would do. Israel, once established, was thought not to have any chance, but it attracted bright (jewish) people from around the world. It was on paper, a secular state. It's apparently thriving now, though we do continue to send it billions a year in "aid".
