Honestly, when I watched they didn't even mention it. All they talked about was gun control. It was sickening.

Our government is trying to ban guns, not terrorism.

Devil's advocate: after the last flail, there was backlash over the over-use of the word "terrorism" so this time they are being more cautious

I'll wait for you to stop laughing...

I honestly suspect it's more about not doing favors for Trump - calling this a "terror attack" gives the Republicans ammo against Obama and Clinton, and using the word "terrorism" over and over gives Trump ammo and reminds many voters why they might prefer an assertive man determined to protect the country over an incompetent woman who doesn't seem to care about the United States.

The media want to shape the narrative that it was a "hate crime" against "teh geys". and to push their anti-gun agenda once again.

My guess? People equate terrorism with "these foreign, not American people came over here and did bad shit to us" - the official story of 9/11, for example.

What they fail to realize is that the terrorists are already here.

Hmm.. yes that is an interesting point. Did the MSM refer to McVeigh as a 'terrorist' at the time? Probably wasn't until a while after the fact.
