Hey guys I'm a resident Olympic weightlifter at the NMU-OTS and am designing a training template for people who can't find coaching they like, or can't afford programming.
In highschool I didn't have a coach, leader, or a way of keeping track of what I'd done in training so I rarely accomplished a solid set of tasks in one day. Sometimes all I did was clean and jerk, other days I neglected my training of classic lifts. The idea is to provide a simple, directed method that will keep you honest and make you your own coach. As time progresses you can change the template to fit yourself better.
How does it work?
Basically I design this template with things I believe your training should touch daily. Then, you decide what exercises you will do to touch on those things and you will always log the sets, reps, and weights you complete those exercises with. This will give you something to look back at and something to build off of.
send me a direct message and tell me a little about yourself, and I will do my best to respond. From there if you're someone I'd think this program is for I'll shoot you my email. From there you email me (so I have yours) then I'll email you a Word document with the template.
NOTE: I did not invent this idea. Cal Strength used to do this and I know for a fact Donny Shankle uses this approach to training!!
