You can either jump two places or spawn/divide/duplicate to one neighbouring place. When you do either move, all enemy-occupied spaces change/transmogrify into copies of you. The opponent does the same when it's their turn. The objective is to occupy more spots when the playing field is full.

Holy shit, I used to play the DOS version of this game. Thanks for the link, I had no idea this existed.

This is only one level though, and the map doesn't change colour upon victory, and it feels like they may have nerfed it – or maybe I've gotten better at the game. Not that any of that keeps me from playing this either... :)

The weird thing is that it lets you enter those unicode characters, without complaint, but then just omits them when it actually serves up what you submitted.
