I think that's an excellent solution to the problem. Is there a way to make sure they don't use url shortener/forwarder to cover up the same url spamming.

For now, all known url shorteners are already banned site-wide on voat. We'll probably have to work on this some more but for now things should be okay.

Awesome. I was half thinking of requesting a sort of user-level ignore-user button because of this specific case. I still primarily use /v/all and it's annoying when one person is spamming an article to 8 different subs multiple times a day.

Awesome I was hoping for something like this. The example you gave is basically whag my v/all looked like last night. Sure they're relevant articles. But it just looks like spam when it appears 4 times in a row.

Could we allow a sub to disable this in their own sub, allowing more content for their own sub?

I get that most people will want this limited, but I think not all people, so ideally there can be a way to opt-out of the default behavior.
