Same with /v/behindthegif I made it before I rescued /v/behindthegifs from a squatter.

I tried accomplishing the same thing with /v/worldcup, before I offered to give it away, and I even deleted the content from the sidebar. It seems that subs past a certain age are ignored by the sweep.

I feel like /v/adoptasubverse should be mentioned in this thread :) Anyway, /r/depressingnews has 2 subscribers on reddit after 5 years, so there's no point in giving it away here, imho.

Even a sub by itself, it can still take some space on a server. Would it be a problem to have abounded subs stored on the server for up to a year before they are automatically deleted? Knowing @Atko predicament, can one assume he needs all the sever space he can get? How much space (in Kb / Mb) does a blank sub take?
