Voat's CloudFlare treats some Tor exit nodes as suspicious, which causes the javascript on Voat to fail to load, which in turn makes voting and replying impossible.
You can request "New Tor Circuit for this Site" (Ctrl-Shift-L) to fix it. Sometimes need to do it a few times to get a good one.

Yea, I noticed back then that the problem is not on my side.. "up there" some big changes were made at the end of last year, bc also YT/google and similar stopped working.. all that almost at the same time. well now these restrictions are a bit unlatched, maybe because corona or they are already gathering info for US elections, idk... if not creating certainly they not want to miss a good opportunity... Browsers-- I guess now the only constant are constant changes, until the one with a real privacy will be built... that will be The real change, now is all only cosmetics.
Oh for sure all the modifications are in place for an Internet shutdown, or at least a lockdown, where traffic can't leave certain regions, etc. Just watch the Big Tech sites becoming pretty much THE ONLY game in town.
