Screencap. If an OP comments in their own thread, ordinarily there is an [S] beside their username. This ceases to be the case if an OP's comment is collapsed. The colour of the text can also be separate fromwhat it would be when uncollapsed. Text colour is (ordinarily) dependent on whether or not the browser cache recognizes the username link as having been clicked. Usernames for OPs in their own threads are usually purple, unless they've been clicked on, in which case they are blue like other usernames within a thread.
My browser clears cache every time it closes, which is why the (functional) version of /u/CheeseboogersGhost's username has the [S] and is purple, because I have not clicked on his username this browser session. The collapsed version lacks the [S], for whatever reason, and it blue, for some reason. Evidently collapsed comment username hyperlinks are treated somewhat differently. The colour difference might not be a bug at all based on that. But the [S] should still be there; it seems there is an absence in the code that deals with this specific case (where an OP's comment in collapsed in their own thread).

The absence of an [S] in a case where it probably should be there makes me think this is a BUG, so I'll flair thus, but this is clearly a low priority issue.
