I published this post 12 hours ago and people started commenting on it pretty quickly afterward but it still reads "no comments".

I'm thinking I should have made the arrow a bright red. And much, much thicker and longer. :)

I've been seeing this lately. Its usually off by a comment or two but that's usually it for me.

There have been a number of reports like this. Definitely a BUG of some kind.

It looks like this issue has been FIXED, as the thread you cited now correctly portrays the number of comments (as do all other threads that were previously known to have this issue).
