If I type "(00000)", ".00000", or ";" in the CSS stylesheet and just press save I get no error; only when previewing first do I get errors for these values.
If I type just "00000" in the stylesheet then whether I preview or not, I receive no error.
Just for reference and confirming what you've said.
EDIT:
If I preview a blank stylesheet and then save I also get the error, and if I type "000000" and then save I get the error. Five zeros with a preview and save passes, but 6 zeros (or none) with a preview and save fails...

I opened a subverse I mod, went to the CSS stylesheet, typed ".00000" and got this same error. BUG.
