Back ground. While asking g goats about if they think vote isn't what it used to be like I realized that a fundamental reason why people hate reddit applied to vote.
Essentially, bans.
Then TBH I was thinking about how people brigade or down voat their targets. Which leads me to think that a universal blocking ability that also prevents blocked users from voting against the blocker would solve those issues.
These 2 changes would alleviate a majority of voat community issues.
You still have alts but even IP blocking and email bans can't stop that but I'm thinking that if you don't feed the trolls and trolls have to rebuild CCP all over again just to troll they are retarded and can be dealt with by protextvoat nannies.
I realize this is my 2nd post on this but askvoat results haven't found any solid rebuttals against my arguments for the change.
If voat was in PHP I would donate my time to coding but it's not so I can only offer ideas and basic flows.

So the blocked user simply builds a supply of alts to vote with, never uses them to post or comment anywhere near his "victim". How are you going to block alt accounts when you don't even know the usernames?
This wouldn't do anything except place one more very small hurdle between abuser and victim. Abusers are already making extensive use of alt accounts, all this does is persuade them to not post or comment nasty from a few of those alts so those accounts don't get blocked and can still downvote the victim. Some of the alts already banned had never posted or commented in an abusive manner, so it seems some abusers are already behaving in a way which would render your blocking idea completely ineffective.

Well you know I would to hear how you solve that instead of just stating the obvious on why the current system doesn't work.
You never even attempt to address why people create alts at least I tried.
