I felt like Clinton was uncomfortable way, like, "You dumbass, how dare you talk about that here?" The higher the stakes, the more secretive you have to be. They don't call the whole operation a House of Cards for nothing.

Some house of cards, look at the shit they pull and still hold dominant positions of power. He might as well have said, "Great, he can get my wife into office some day", they would have still gotten away with it; they'd say it was some kind of skit or something and people would blow it off.

At the time, Turner was the strong hand at CNN's helm. This was a direct offer of collusion from a network head, through its prime "journalist" to a political figure. Fortunately, with hindsight we can see that the deal ultimately fell apart because how silly would it look if CNN gave itself over to be used as the mouthpeice of the Clinton Dynasty?

He was trying to say it low key but it did exactly the opposite. He made it sound sexual.

I also like how it's a one sided conversation. Cool story bro.

On a side note, it's crazy to think how quickly technology is changing. They are talking about being broadcast live, around the world and are amazed. Now it's so old hat they fake it half of the time because no one's impressed any more.
