This was in Milwaukee 2015. A yearly bike event. These asshats were burning up the road all around the city ALL day. The cops let them get away with a lot. But at this point in the day the cops said 'nuff was enuff and decided to call it a day. Everyone does stupid things on a cycle. Some more stupid than others.
Motorcyclist here. That maneuver by the cop is to quell traffic, and here in Utah, it is illegal to pass an officer while they are doing it. Keep in mind that: bikes can be hard to see, doubly so if you are swerving back and forth. I doubt the cop did it on purpose (this is what needs to be determined by the cop's dashcam). The motorcyclist was an idiot for passing the cop to begin with: he was both breaking the law and purposefully putting himself in danger.

If that manuever was to quell traffic then lights and maybe siren should have been on. That manuever was general ass-hattery, and dangerous. Passing a cop isn't illegal or idiotic.
I didn't notice the lack of lights ... good call. If lights/siren are required where this is, then the cop was driving recklessly. Still, the cyclist was an idiot, IMHO.
It's ok. We fucking hate ass-hats that judge us on our chosen vehicles anyway.
You know that we are not all squids? You know that some of us are more courteous drivers then you right?
And every time you passively-aggressively tailgate me, cut me off, or buzz me when I am making a turn, it just confirms how tiny your penis is, and how jealous you are because you are too much of a coward to drive one.
How about instead of hating on drivers because of what they drive, why don't you judge them on how they drive. Because an asshole is an asshole whether he is on a bike or in a truck or anything else. Same goes for the good drivers.
Sorry for the rant, but I am sick of shit-heads with your mentality throwing abuse at me on the road. I am one of the most respectful drivers you will meet, there is no call for it, outside of the highly emotional and irrational hate some of you choose to carry.

TL;DR: click-bait headline.
