Classic liberalism, that's a term I've haven't heard in a very long time and a good point. SJWs sell themselves as socially liberal democrats but actually behave much more like fascists.

I also read that article about faculty who are scared of their teachers. It was actually quite enlightening. The degree to which these students act is not wholly the fault of universities and the higher educational system. It is definitely promoted and enabled within it but i think these SJW thinkers are enabled and encouraged by their parents from a young age. Combined with the fact that primary and secondary teachers in the US at least have barely above a community college education it's a hotbed for stupid ideas to become ingrained as rightful ways of thinking. The problem comes from so much though so even this might not be right...

Fascists have always been staunchly anti-intellectual. Or at rather against the pervasively leftist and often Marxist pseudointellectualls found in almost every university for the last 100 years. It would be far more apt to liken SJWs to Maoists.
