I like M. Kelly, for the most part. But that question of hers was neither intelligent nor fair. Donald Trump insults men at least as much as he insults women. He's called most of his male rivals for the nomination choice names and insults. And, oh, by the way, his rivals have called him names, too. Most recently, Jeb Bush called him an "ass-hole." So does that make Jeb Bush "anti-man"?
What is this double standard fixation to treat women like they are fragile flowers that cannot handle the normal events of life? Isn't that sexist? To assume that men can handle being called "losers," and "failures" (as Trump has called his rivals) and "assholes" as Jeb Bush has called Trump--but women not only can't handle a harsh word now and then, but anyone who says anything harsh to a woman is magically against all women. Huh?
I'm glad Donald Trump didn't cower and apologize, the way journalists have come to expect everyone to do when accused of offending some protected group or another. He spoke for many millions of Americans--and got big applause--when he pushed back against such nonsense. For every person that actually hates anybody in this country, there are ten thousand good people who hate nobody, but are being hounded into all kinds of suppression and apologies. Enough!
