Once you go down the rabbit hole just a little bit, and realize that authority figures can and do perpetuate ill intentioned, detailed lies with extremely wide reaching implications, everything becomes suspect.
That includes people on the internet assuming that there are literal demon worshiping people sacrificing people to Moloch.
You don’t have to assume anything mystical in order to condemn Waco. It’s relatively easy to convince people it was setting an example for anyone else that tried to break free from the current economic system.
That doesn’t make the people who killed those in Waco any less suspect or damnable. It just makes the reality of the situation much easier for normies to digest. Any time I hear demons being brought up, I become suspicious. There’s a reason a fair number of extremely important events have been so successfully distorted in recent history; those who speak the truth are fairly easily discredited by bad actors (or legitimate but crazy actors) associating those views with things like aliens or demons or whatever.
EDIT: I recently watched Metokur's video on the Finders. I subscribe to his idea that there seems to be truth to the demon worshiping stuff, but that it's added intentionally over covert operations to discredit anyone who uncovers whatever the fuck they're doing. But it does seem like it's not entirely made up. I would still caution people to not focus too hard on the demon stuff, as it seems designed to discredit people.
