People who argue about correct way of saying something using slang are silly... it's a soft drink (vs. alcohol=hard drink).
Pop/Cola/Soda is slang... like Hoagie/Hero/Grinder are all the same hot-Italian sub sandwich.
Funny how people want to argue about this for some reason to prove their regional correct slang.
