He's right, but I don't think antagonizing a cop during a routine traffic stop is doing yourself any favors.

I'm sure the cop is thinking, "Oh great, one of these fucking guys again"

This fucking guy handled it really well, polite even.

I've watched these videos and the videos where they put a laminated declaration on the window with their ID and refuse to even crack a window.

I don't get it. I got pulled over for having a temporary tag on my car in a neighboring state. I got a warning for not having a plate outside the car because this state had those weatherproof tags but mine doesnt.

There's no winning. I had to sign my name saying I comitted an infraction when I didn't. I'd have to argue with the officer that this law is only for cars registered in the state, which mine wasn't, and I was following my state's laws which being a neighboring state should be honored on a federal highway.

But what are my options, get arrested and spend a week of my life debating this until they release me and never change a thing so I can risk repeating this or someone else can?

Laws are simply a way to complicate life and ensure there's a reason to have two (plus) strangers debate how to live life, over a taxable transaction.

That was actually a respectful way to hold your ground.

Yea, until the end when he became disrespectful.

Right. I was with him until he started trying to escalate the situation with law enforcement that does not know why he is so hostile against them.

I also don't think his whole spiel of "this guy is lying, I wasn't going 65" is something I can just immediately believe.

I think the cop that initially pulled him over didn't do anything obviously wrong that can be determined from this video aside from maybe being wrong about whether or not that guy needs to lower his window.

I can't tell that the guy didn't miss multiple intersections (although I do believe him in this case). I can't tell whether or not the guy was speeding. But if I was the cop, and I came across someone so hostile, I certainly would be wondering what the fuck is wrong with this dude.

Yeah I didnt like that part either. The guy had stayed so calm and won his conflict and it was like winning wasnt good enough or something. He wanted to make the situation even worse. I get it though. I hate them too.

That was actually a really good video. Maybe because it hit home with me.

  • I was speeding and pulled up to a red light in the right hand turn lane with a cop behind me. The light turned green AND THEN he lit me up, so I turned right(there was NO shoulder) and made the first immediate left onto a side street. I traveled 233 ft and pulled over onto the shoulder of the side street. He then accused me of "fleeing" and threatened arrest.

FUCK THESE COPS. They are fucking stupid. And I mean fucking stupid.

$23 fine you can plead in court... after spending an entire day in court to cope your plea, come back for an entire day for the arraignment, spend a third entire day to plead your case only to have the Judge ignore any evidence you present and believe the cop.

So you get stuck with your $23 fine, ok that's not too bad. Go to the counter to pay only to get hit with another $100+ in "court cots", it's fucking criminal.

Dude's a dick. First 10 minutes or so are fine. You shouldn't let officers push you around and you don't have to incriminate yourself by answering questions. Fair enough, but then the guy is arguing with the officer about whether he was speeding, as if he's going to convince the cop to let him off. Then he shit talks the cops for 5 minutes after. Cops were respectful enough, "yeah sure here's your ticket," but driver just wanted to be a cunt.

Just take your ticket and bounce, man. Why would you want to sit and argue with cops in a parking lot?

Paid youtube clicks and affiliate marketer of legal insurance. Thats why he sits and argues with the cops and uses foul language. Fact is, he is the liar. He was speeding just to attract the cops and harass them. Cruise control in stop and go traffic? bullshit. No video of the 54mph he claims he was going? He says he's been doing this for 20 years and has a lawyer and legal insurance. What an asshole. He should join up with black lives matter.

This is exactly the first thing that I thought as well

This exactly. He does this for the views. Cop hating and "in field, caught ya!" kind of incriminating cop videos get massive hits. Because we live in a nation of people who take literally everything about community safety and policing for granted and are totally naive to the natural violence that would exist in their world if not for community policing.

Traffic stops are dangerous for cops. Very much so.

The fact he is posting a video online just makes it so cringeworthy. Like, "Hey guys! Look what I did! Pat me on the back now!". Fucking man child. The officer wants to know if you have a gun because they have no idea whether you are a passive, law-abiding citizen, or someone who is about to go to the slammer (after they run your ID) and may decide to shoot them out of desperation. This happens. Hence the need to know ahead of time if someone is armed, aka, for their own protection.

He starts out wanting to find negative things. This sours his approach, regardless of what happens. He's obviously been through stuff, but he's not helping.

This video got pretty ugly towards the end. I mean he basically won his confrontation and then he starts calling them names and being an ass. It was like he was disappointed he didnt get a bigger conflict and struggle.
