That's crossfit for you. It's like a damned cult, and nearly all the exercises they promote and teach are dangerous and ineffective.

If you actually got good results from this bullshit, maybe it'd be worth the extra risk of injury; but crossfitters aren't exactly "prime athletes". All of the good ones were athletes before they joined the cult.

Olympic style lifting, running, jumping, rowing, etc. which of these are dangerous or ineffective?

Also, how can you watch something like the CF games and determined that there are no prime athletes in that competition?

I'm not just talking shit. I would like a well reasoned argument as to why this type of exercise is bad.

Hey, those instructors are certified! They had to go to 2 weekends of class to learn how to properly help people dislocate shoulders,ankles,and of course brag about if your body doesn't go into rhabdo you're not doing it right. CrossFit is a fad that need to go away.
