Is it really worth the price? $13 for 12 oz of coffee is crazy, and it's not even organic or fair trade.

That's not that bad really for decent coffee.

Nigger! I want my coffee picked by Mexicans being whipped and payed 30 cents a day. It's not made for purple haired cross dressing trannies like you.

I think that's the point and I fully support it.

bad news

Dollar Shave Club is a Venice, California-based company that delivers razors and other personal grooming products to customers by mail.

Founder: Michael Dubin

Founded: January 18, 2011

Parent organization: Unilever

Also, when Dollar Shave Club came out, I researched them, found out their supplier was Dorco - a Korean brand I think. You could buy their razors in bulk for like 20 cents per razor.

Something else that stuck out with me in that commercial too, "pop-pop only needed a single blade razor"... Why do I need a quadruple blade razor??

I bought a handle from my barber shop, and I joined the 10 cents shave club, using the double sided safety razor, and I get a much closer shave.

I'm 100% against the whole "veteran owned", tattooed, and bearded Facebook marketing shtick, buuut... I will admit that commercial was funny.

Still not buying their overpriced coffee.

Edit: if you'd like to through away money because of "muh veterans!" and "Patriotism!!!", I'd gladly accept your money. I promise that I will spend it on cocaine and prostitutes.

Funny commercial. To me it's the products that are tiresome. The guy could have left it at a funny video, but once I realized I was watching a commercial I let out a good sigh. Has absolutely nothing to do with coffee. So now all I can think about is how to get his product I'm essentially paying for his lifestyle, consisting of many expensive guns, video production, and crossfit classes, and receiving coffee that, while probably not bad, doesn't justify the expense of what I just saw in the commercial.

It's legitimately good coffee though. I'd rather my money go to these guys than the typical liberal coffee companies.

Oh god mat best doing cross fit?

Nope

How To Be A Crossfitter - YouTube

[–] SexMachine 1 points 0 points (+1|-1) ago

They probably don't take crossfit classes, the military was moving towards more combined physical training that involved... whatever the generic name for crossfit is because "crossfit" is trademarked. Special operations community had been using those physical training methods long before the regular guys.

All those bearded tattooed veteran YouTube/Facebook marketing guys run together. Ranger Up, Article 15 clothing, Disfunctional Veterans, and Black Rifle Coffee, and probably a few others. So it's not like one product they're selling is making all their money. A lot of the guys also work for civilian training organizations, teaching cops and stuff trade craft.

There's a lot of back and forth training between police and military. The military uses tactics developed by SWAT for urban combat, and the police use tactics developed by EOD for handling explosives.

In the military they would hire these civilian/ex-operator groups to come out to train us.
