On a scale of 1 to "no more real than the Hendo", this rates about a forty thousand. See the mist coming off of it? It uses superconducting magnets. That means it has a really short operational lifespan, because those mags have to be goddamn cold for the effect to work. And the track beneth it is just concrete poured over metal; it won't work on an unprepared surface. So, no better than the hendo in terms of what it needs to work, probably a shorter operational lifetime due to requiring cryogenic temperatures, and unlike the hendo, this doesn't lead to you funding a company building magnetic shock absorber's for eathquakes (hendo's real raison d'etre).

Thanks lexus.

it's hard not to be doubtful after the last hoverboard, which was a lie, but I'm hopeful. At least it is a company with fairly consistent results. If it were BMW you'd probably die and it would be recalled a month after they knew they should.
