The left hate. The left hate.
I want to talk about this. Yes the left can hate. Yes the right can hate. Everyone needs to stop getting hung up on the label. Shitty people exist. They just do. They aren't confined to one political ideology. We've seen sexism on both sides, we've seen racism on both sides. To deny this is, is to live in ignorance. Are the left or the right defined by racism, sexism, or violence? No, no reasonable person will assign hatred when both parties actively avoid this. So what happened at Berkeley. Well, let's look at it. A case could be made that California is the home of what every conservative imagines when they think "the whiny liberal". Berkeley takes it one step further. It is probably as left as you can get in the U.S. in terms of political ideology. I find no surprise that Berkeley students were extremely passionate and protested Milo. But these students weren't the agitator. They were the powder keg. If I were a socialist anarchist, there is just no easier target than Berkeley. That was the result. So do the left hate? Yes, but not like media makes it seem like, they just aren't the majority. Same would go for the right.

My comment was in context of the milo response. I respect your thoughts though. We need to be vigilant lest our debate becomes the unthinkable.
