This is spot on. We see it so often that we don't even think about it, and even our governments condition us to accept it without question.

In the US, the government requires men and women to be treated equally, yet the Selective Service is a requirement that is imposed upon men and men only. An 18-year-old man must register with SS, or he is in criminal violation, while women face no such obligation. On the other hand, if a woman chooses to enlist in the military, or to apply to one of the military academies, she is allowed to do so, and she can reap all of the benefits without gender restriction. In other words, if a woman wants to participate in the military she is allowed to do so, but should war ever break out, it will be only men who are drafted.

According to official US Congressional research, in the Vietnam War, 58,217 men were killed compared to 8 women. In the Persian Gulf War, 367 men were killed as compared to 15 women. In Operation Enduring Freedom, 2301 men and 51 women. Operation Iraqi Freedom: 4302 men, 110 women. Operation New Dawn: 66 men and 0 women. I'm not advocating for or against the US involvement in any of these wars--that is a very different topic for a different thread. What I am stating is the very obvious point that US government documents clearly show: In the US, males are expected to die in wars, while women are allowed to remain safe at home.

That is a literal war on men.
