And news media doesn't seem to understand why people like the guy.

I hate that, they always act astonished that he's made it this far, but he's made it here by people VOTING for him, they don't get this is what America wants.

Oh, they do; (((they're))) just trying to control the narrative. The great irony is: the harder they fight reality, the more apparent the cognitive dissonance becomes— and the more people see through it.

They have to.

They know how any why, but admitting it would need them to backtrack, cant have that as the sheeple migh start ask questions about how legit the news about Hillary are either.

I don't support him, but I respect his pride and his persistence. He's definitely not the worst candidate to be president.

If you're an American, the future is great. Trump is going to make America great again. That's not bleak at all. It will be glorious

It's true. That is certainly a possibility. But your other likely choice is Hillary who we all KNOW is a shill, liar and globalist

Every politician is like that though. If he's telling the truth, then Americans end up in a great position. If he's been lying, then America gets business as usual. The other candidates would have been, short of Bernie, be business as usual. At least there is a chance with Trump.

Right? You may not like the guy, you may not be voting for him; but he is genuinely trying to be as of the people as possible. He knows that the system is rigged and that he needs the popular vote as much as possible. Good for him, fuck Hillary

You know, I wonder if she is a strong enough politician to be selected. It would cause heads to completely explode if Trump did it. Black, female, Republican, Mormon, immigrant parents...Everyone would claim Trump ONLY selected her because of those qualities, and that he was using her, all while claiming that if you don't vote for Hillary because she is female, then you are a misogynistic bigot.

I don't know much about her, policy-wise but she seems to be well thought of. I hope its either Gingrich or her, but for the love of all that is holy, please don't let it be Christie.

Political positions

Love says she favors "fiscal discipline, limited government, and personal responsibility."[18] She has also said that she asks herself three questions whenever she approaches an issue: "Is it affordable? Is it sustainable? Is it my job?"[48] She has said that at her college orientation, Love's father told her: "Mia, your mother and I never took a handout. You will not be a burden to society. You will give back." She underscored this philosophy on the campaign trail in 2014 to sum up her conservative views.[49]

Love was described as a Tea Party conservative in 2012.[30] In a 2015 article titled "How 'tea party' is Mia Love?", the Washington Post wrote that "Love's rhetoric from 2012 to 2014 changed a bit, even as her policy positions remained fairly constant" and noted that Love had "angered some conservatives when she questioned the tea party driven government shutdown in 2013 over Obamacare."[50] Some conservative bloggers have described her as a "Trojan horse libertarian" due to her libertarian views on homeschooling, federal control of land, and other issues.[51]

Love is pro-life.[52] She supports gun rights and holds a concealed weapons permit. Love supports Utah's effort to reclaim public land from federal agency controls.[52]

During her first campaign for Congress, Love proposed deep cuts to federal spending, particularly in the area of entitlement spending.[30] She also supports cutting taxes.[30] She supported major cuts to foreign aid, block grants in a wide range of programs, and tort reform. She believes that the federal government should have less power.[53] In 2014, Love focused more on balancing the budget, avoiding stating specific cuts needed but identifying the goal of matching spending to revenue.[54] Love supported the March 2015 budget, which required an increase in federal employee contributions to their retirement funds.[55]
