What do you do on this sub?
Post about anything that frustrates you, let it all out, have a cathartic moment. And who knows, if it's a problem we can solve, maybe one of us can even help you. But first and foremost, let that anger flow!
Swear, scream, call politicians bad names that would make your mother blush! No holds barred! It's all-out venting time!

Mini-FAQ
Q: How is this different from /v/offmychest?
A: This sub is not anonymous. And it's much more primitive! On /v/offmychest, people can have serious and polite discussions about issues that deeply affect them. In here you can yell and fling poo like an orangutan. No insult to orangutans, they are usually friendly people. Be uncivil!
Q: Why is this not anonymous?
A: Because setting a sub anonymous will automatically disable any upvoating. One of the ideas here is to have the most outrageous, most entertaining, most eloquent ventings upvoated and thus floating to the top to entertain us all! If you're looking for something anonymous, chances are you are trying to find something more serious than a simple venting. Then you might be better off at /v/offmychest, which is both more serious and anonymous.

Usually it's because they get bored or just feel the sub isn't growing how they wanted it to. Or at all. Because they don't realise they have to be active themselves or some other reason. It can be tough getting a sub off the ground.

These are things I can understand. But what I'm talking about are people who initiate a subverse, and then just don't use Voat altogether. It's one thing to be struggling to bring people into your subverse, but still be around. It's quite another to start one, then just never come back to the website. It's frustrating because it takes forever to get a transfer. There should be a requirement of having been a member for so long, and have so much SCP or CCP to start one -- just like they have rules for these regarding transfers.

That's a good idea. I'd take it to the ideas sub. To be honest I've not tried to create one and so I'm a little surprised to learn there aren't limits. If there were there would also be less subverse requests as people would just be able to make the ones they want, rather than try and takeover one someone made then abandoned.
