Serial killer Rodney Alcala has been called the most prolific serial killer in history. He killed as many as 130 women, girls, and boys in a violent killing spree that lasted from 1973 to 1978. Most of his victims' identities remain a mystery that he took to the grave with his execution in 1989. He was made famous for an appearance on the TV game show The Dating Game in 1978, during the midst of his murderous rampage.
In 2010, police released 120 photographs from his collection of over 1,000 in an attempt to seek the public's help finding the identities of more of his victims. Most of the remainder of the photos are too graphic to release.
