I'd watch the shit out of that. The hilarity as they returned where they began w/o ever finding an edge.

[–] eronburr 0 points 12 points (+12|-0) ago  (edited ago)

Have there been any videos at the south pole showing a compass?

[–] MrPim 3 points 3 points (+6|-3) ago

There was a documentary about a shape shifter...

Yes there are videos from Antarctica. Many in fact. I'll post some if you like. I would have in this comment, but I expect flat earthers to reject them all as hoax anyway, so I didn't bother. And it's a simple web search to find hundreds anyway, something even a flat earther should be able to manage.

[–] DeadBeatNigger 0 points 8 points (+8|-0) ago

Dude, it would be fucking unwatchable. It'd be on a channel like HGTV, or TLC, and it'd be nothing but drama. They'd never actually discover anything. It'd be paid actors "accidentally" getting caught in boat rigging as they set off to Antarctica, a loveable tard with an adorable nickname like Chwumbly, who was constantly screwing up, and half of each episode would be the narrator saying, "this time, they may have actually found something." Then it would cut to commercial and when the show came back on, the tough but loving father would sigh in frustration upon discovering that they hadn't found the end of the flat earth.

It would all end after seven seasons without a conclusion, because by then, everyone would have tuned out and started watching "Extreme Chemtrails!"

[–] MrPim 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

How about if we shoot them into space? We can do a tie in w Space X.

Or not. I don't really watch TV anyway.

[–] Honey_Pot 1 points 2 points (+3|-1) ago

I've seen the edge of the Earth with my own eyes. I was out sailing on a friends boat and there it was, plain as day. didn't look more than 30-40 miles away. I was real glad when he turned back to port.

[–] Swallowdaredpill 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

How did you see the edge from 40 miles away you dick

[–] Sparkbubble 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

haha.. exactly! This will be the best reality show ever made.

[–] samy90a44 2 points 25 points (+27|-2) ago

I once met a Flat Earth dude at a Holistic/Alternative Medicine Expo. He was at one table with his wife, selling carved stones and quartz crystals attached to tethers you put around your neck to ward off disease and 'airborne germs'. Tried to sell me on wearing a chunk of Amethyst around my neck would ward-off getting the Common Cold and Flu in the Winter. (for just $59.95) He was a Flat Earth True Believer. Could not convince him otherwise, even when I told him the reason airplanes in flight disappear from vision when they fly over the Horizon Curvature Point proves the Earth is Round. Also tried the obvious moving shadow cast by a 3' tall yardstick standing up in the sunlight proves the Earth is a Rotating Spheroid Ball. Wouldn't listen, although it was quite an amusing exchange. Like trying to rationalize with a Cat.

[–] BlueDrache 2 points 9 points (+11|-2) ago

... you just can't fix retarded.

[–] Fuckyounigger 2 points 3 points (+5|-2) ago

Well you haven’t applied my patented bullet in the nog simple trick have you then?

[–] DeadBeatNigger 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago  (edited ago)

Sure you can, just offer to abide by the rules of long distance shooting, in regards to bullet drop in relation to the horizon. Have the flat-Earther be your target. Since the earth is flat, the bullet won't hit them.

[–] McFluffy 1 points 7 points (+8|-1) ago

ask them what happens if they dig too deep the next time you meet a flat earther.

weird shit starts being said as it now forces their brain to think in 3d. i once had one come back and tell me that the earth is actually "dreidel shape that meets at a point."

[–] spaceman84 1 points 10 points (+11|-1) ago  (edited ago)

Dreidel shape Earth is six gorillion times more believable than flat earth.

[–] TheTrigger 0 points 6 points (+6|-0) ago

Lol, dreidel shaped. Fuckin' Jews, man.

[–] samy90a44 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

Earth as a Dreidel that rotates around the Sun.... (nearly passed my Pepsi-Cola thru my nose laughing!)

[–] Redpilleveryone 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

No one said that the earth is dreidel shaped. I'm calling bullshit.

[–] ptr55 0 points 4 points (+4|-0) ago

Not to defend them but if the earth were flat and the sun fixed in the sky with the earth still rotating(flipping), the shadow cast would be about the same thing. Of course I don't know the bizarre scenarios they've concocted. Maybe they have the earth fixed and the sun doing something crazy.

Do they also have a flat sun "theory"?

[–] TheTrigger 0 points 5 points (+5|-0) ago  (edited ago)

That wouldn't account for seasons. Everything they come up with can be refuted with fifth grader logic. I believe some pretty "whacky," conspiracies, by most people's standards. But flat earth is just idiotic. Hell, Nazi teleporting-submarines are more plausible than a flat earth.

[–] spaceman84 0 points 5 points (+5|-0) ago

I saw a pretty entertaining YouTube video about the sun being a relatively small object traveling around within the dome. Only a few miles up, etc.

[–] Mr_Wolf 1 points 3 points (+4|-1) ago

yes, the sun and moon rotate around the disc earth

[–] Redpilleveryone 2 points -1 points (+1|-2) ago

"I don't know what bizarre scenarios they've connected."

They have concocted much less bizarre scenarios than modern (((science))) has.

[–] knightwarrior41 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

its called the new age

[–] uvulectomy 2 points 15 points (+17|-2) ago

Flat-Earthers are useful idiots. They exist solely to make anyone questioning the (((plan))) look crazy by association.

[–] Scroobius 0 points 18 points (+18|-0) ago

Flat Earth brought me to the JQ red pill. I was so astonished that there were flat earthers I had to understand their pov and researched it. So then I think, "how can people deny the holocaust?" Turns out Jews are parasites. So, I am grateful for flat earth theory.

[–] BB-3 0 points 9 points (+9|-0) ago

That's pretty funny given that flat-earthism is being pushed to make holocaust deniers and 9/11 truthers look crazy by association.

[–] silic0n 0 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago

Especially considering the Masonic influence behind it all.

[–] silic0n 0 points 5 points (+5|-0) ago

Only an idiot believes everything he's told. Question everything.

[–] SandHog 1 points 0 points (+1|-1) ago

I wonder what the percentage of people at Jonestown were flat-earthers? I bet it is similar to those who follow scientology.

[–] Smokybubbles 0 points 10 points (+10|-0) ago

Have the flat earthers published alternative laws of newtonian physics to refute the current ones? There is a lot of gravitational shit they need to explain to justify a flat earth assertion.

[–] Laurentius_the_pyro 0 points 6 points (+6|-0) ago  (edited ago)

They don't believe in gravity.

they think things fall because "it's down, of course things go down, gravity isn't real, therefore the earth is flat".

[–] SaveTheChildren 3 points 4 points (+7|-3) ago

Bouyancy and density

[–] Smokybubbles 1 points 5 points (+6|-1) ago

"Bouyancy (sic) and density" imply vague effects of mass and gravitation. The world is still awaiting the refutation of Newton's theorems. Clearly our education system has failed the populace.

[–] 14964228? 1 points 1 points (+2|-1) ago

LOL sup stc, haven't seen you in a while

[–] budhahead 1 points 0 points (+1|-1) ago

Buoyancy and density are laws. The THEORY of gravity is actually that. A theory. In fact when YOU finish reading Newton’s book youll realize that your favorite Masonic falling apple watcher actually finishes his book by saying there are little fucking faeries inside the moon pulling levers. Yes, I shit you not, the same book you depend on for science ends with faeries pulling levers. But you didn’t read the book, you heard a quote from it and called it science because your a good goyim.

[–] Redpilleveryone 3 points -3 points (+0|-3) ago

They see it from the opposite perspective. They believe that Newton and other made assumptions that he shouldn't have intentionally. Same goes for modern explanations. They just continued to fudge the math until it fits. Kinda like how dark matter exists to make certain equations work. I can't explain much more at the moment. I just choose to trust the wisdom of my ancestors and not the kikes. I trust my ancestors and only know for sure what I see and comprehend. I'm not capable of much more than that.

[–] Amelia_Earnhardt_Jr 0 points 8 points (+8|-0) ago

From what ive seen they believe Antarctica is where the "wall" is that encircles the flat earth. And the North Pole is supposed to be the center of the disc.

[–] Azzipdoe 7 points -3 points (+4|-7) ago  (edited ago)

Correct. And if the North Pole (center of disc) has a magnetic pull, compasses would still be pointing to North Pole (center of disc) no matter where the location. People suggesting travel across the equator are clueless on what this is all about. Traveling across the South Pole is what’s never going to happen, and tptb have made damn sure of that for whatever reason people want to believe or deny.

[–] Laurentius_the_pyro 0 points 8 points (+8|-0) ago

You don't understand how magnets work.

[–] MDEneverdies1488 0 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago

Both poles have magnetic pull. In the southern hemisphere, a compass points South.

[–] alphasnail 0 points 7 points (+7|-0) ago  (edited ago)

Flat Earth theory is SCP foundation LARPing.

[–] we_are_all_satoshi 1 points 7 points (+8|-1) ago

If the earth was flat, then why can't we see the sun at night if we zoomed in enough?

[–] silic0n 1 points 0 points (+1|-1) ago

Atmospheric refraction and perspective.

[–] GhostSkin 6 points -3 points (+3|-6) ago

You're joking right?

[–] lacrimamosa 0 points 13 points (+13|-0) ago

No. If I live in London, and I watch the sun set. Then I call a friend who lives in Los Angeles, and my friend says the sun is still up, how is that possible? Like, draw me a diagram.

Keep in mind, when I watched the sun set, I watched it go below the horizon. How can it still be above the horizon in LA?

[–] iDontShift 4 points 6 points (+10|-4) ago  (edited ago)

yawn. you don't actually want to discuss facts.

flat earth society is controlled opposition.

you can't prove a curve without government sources. tell someone a boat doesn't disappear over the curve... they tell me you can't see it because earth too big.

ask for proof earth is round science sites will tell you ships disappear over the horizon.

how high up do you need to be to see the curve? 7 miles they say. so we send balloons up there, can't see it.

now we need to be 14 miles up they say.

I say fuck you. Consider a flat plane with a magnetic center. now walk west with a compass. did you go in a circle?

no you went around the point. you made circles in a flat plane and think it makes a sphere.

no plane uses the southern route over antarctica. plenty of anomalies in flight times in the southern hemisphere.

how interesting to be so sure and yet know so little.

did you know that there should be 80 feet of drop per mile... yet the Suez Canal is 100 miles as the crow flies and has less than a few feet of variance end to end.

THERE IS NO CURVE. lol. keep paying for nasa movies retards.

[–] [deleted] 3 points 2 points (+5|-3) ago  (edited ago)

[–] iDontShift 2 points 1 points (+3|-2) ago

um, the folks that built the railroads? they say the united states is flat aside from having 'hills and valleys'

[–] chuckletrousers 1 points 1 points (+2|-1) ago

did you know that there should be 80 feet of drop per mile... yet the Suez Canal is 100 miles as the crow flies and has less than a few feet of variance end to end.

Oh bullshit, you're just repeating some other flat earth moron.

[–] iDontShift 2 points -1 points (+1|-2) ago

if it is bullshit, find me the real number.

because you can't find 'curvature of the earth' on wikipedia. wonder why?

[–] anthonylancer 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

We got a cozy little bunch of Flat Gang members here on voat. What matters is people questioning their sources for truth. If you sign off your reality to the word of bought and paid for scientists you are not careful enough with your concept of truth.

[–] iDontShift 1 points 0 points (+1|-1) ago

if your smart enough to follow this guy, you might find how how much you thought you knew was wrong.

and this guy just dissappeared. literally. just gone. all his videos were taken down, no explanation given.

we don't think he is dead, but it appears he was coerced into signing off.

those scientists you trust are mostly stupid following their pied pipers.

but you wouldn't know that unless you are smart enough to understand how this happens.

the majority don't looked at the foundations of the subject matter they study. they just trust it.

and questioning it is consider almost herasy.

but you don't know that do you? or if you saw it, you just went along with it, didn't notice this unquestionable 'facts' ...

[–] FuckYou88 2 points -1 points (+1|-2) ago

the curve drop rate is actually 8 feet per mile, not 80.

[–] DFW 0 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago

Sorry, but it's 8 inches per mile squared.
