We've gone from: Free tv with commercials, to pay tv without commercials, to pay tv with commercials.

It's cheaper to get cable with internet than internet alone. Not many people are choosing to pay for it, it's more like "ok, why not"

Cable TV has had commercials for more than 30 years and people paid for that shit.

People payed for cable because that meant there were four hundred channels with nothing on instead of just three. Even if on-demand had never developed, the internet still would've murdered its relevance as channels began hosting their own streams.

The difference is we have choice and alternatives now. People will still pay for it because "a fool and their money are quickly seperated".

Submit to someone else's plan, submit to someone else's plan, submit to someone else's plan. I see a pattern. The power lies with the viewer deciding that enough is enough.
