That's a pretty cool perspective. I've never actually heard much of other culture's paranormal stuff outside of maybe Europe.

I would think seeing some gallows would be creepy, as would basements, low angle lighting, and claustrophobic spaces. But I think some people go around declaring whatever makes them feel uncomfortable as haunted. What's weird is when feelings of creepiness emerge in a normal looking, well lit environment and then strange shit starts to happen.

I think Ghost hunting would be interesting. What I'd want to do is, in a place that gets responses to EMF readings, instead of just leaving it as Yes/No, rig up 26 of them each corresponding to a letter. If it's a real thing that's intelligent, it should be able to type at you. Alternatively, cut the alphabet in half A-M, N-Z, and as it selects each one, do it like how stephen hawking types through his BCI.

It's interesting to consider a place as an entity. I've always thought about entities in a place, never the place itself.

I've been in a lot of famous places where I used to live in Japan and only 2 scared the shit out of me. Both I didn't even get close to and I walked away. A third was just a no go and didn't even consider driving to.

The gallows where around Oklahoma. It was around noon and a great day and the rest of the historic site was cool. Some mean shit was there.

The houses as entities is why I called it shamanistic spiritual stuff. Entity is actually a good word since I don't think they are living but rather aware. It's hard to describe in words.

Interacting would be ... I don't know ... Cool yet scary.

Once again, I'm not psychic or anything but rather file this all away as intuition and unexplainable.

Have you ever had any strange experiences?

Sure, although many of the ones when I was younger I have attributed to sleep paralysis and waking dreams. However, there was a school I worked at briefly, janitor gig when I was between jobs. Mopping a bathroom, knock on the door, no one there. Locked front doors, other guy tested them as he was doing rounds making sure all doors were locked, windows shut, next day, theyre unlocked. Heard footsteps and keys jingle upstairs after all lights were off and everyone was done up there, me and another guy went to investigate incase someone broke in, found nothing.

These occured around a 2 week period. Then one night, had finished early, was waiting downstairs to clock out in a half hour, and saw something move on the security cam footage. Area was a parking lot adjacent to side of the building that I heard the knocking and the footsteps. Saw a roundish black shadow go across the parking lot and vanish into the door. It wasn't a human figure but it moved about as fast as one and seemed to be roughly the same size, but it was more like a mist. Darker in the center, more transparent around the edges.
