I hadn't thought of that correlation before. Good point. I've read all sorts of stuff on how the ancients used sound waves, but it was always in the realm of "fringe science" Well now... looks like we can do it after all.

(I also believe we are much older and had much higher civilizations in the past. Then some sort of crash or fall happened in the way back and I think we lost a lot of knowledge in the process and had to "restart" as a species...)

I like Robert Shoch's contention that Mass Coronal Ejections could have played a role in extinction events. Perhaps these forgotten civilizations advances would not look identical to our own but achieved similar aims. I was reading that the "sonic" argument for pyramid construction extends from Massoudi's 10th century description that the Egyptians used "magic spells" to move blocks. I can see some rationale that his description was a fabrication, but it may also have been the only language Massoudi had available to describe a complex, advanced process.
