Thank you for getting on this, King_Leopold_II.
I failed the challenge last night. Started with craving, thought I could have just 2, then had more. My higher function is half-broken now. Its like I'm learning to handle my alcohol all over again. A couple thoughts:
-There are virtuous and vicious cycles with discipline. Disturbed sleep weakened by ability to resist temptation.
-I had a specific hope that while drunk I would have an insight into a personal dilemma. Did not happen.
I vow to stay within the Challenge parameters today.
Sure thing dude. Just remember you can fail at something, but you're not a failure until you give up. Something that's helped me over the last couple weeks building up to last Saturday/Sunday (where i drank on sat, and went sober on sun) is repeating throughout the day "I love going to sleep sober."
It didn't happen over night and I may yet binge some night, almost did Thursday. I'm working on a submission but I want a little more personnel experience before publishing it.
