I had to think on this before re-writing. It's an interesting post, but riddled with flawed tactical thinking, profound ignorance, and no imagination applied given our current development or advances on the horizon. In order to understand the conflict at hand, one must understand three fundamental truths:
This is Darpa's Atlas platform as of last year, then again six months ago, and recently last month. I'll admit, it's not particularly intimidating, but consider that this is Atlas five years ago and then three years later. I'm confident that DARPA's developed a chassis platform they can work with and are rapidly developing atlas's processing ability. I suspect that if our economy doesn't collapse in the next twenty years, future armies will be fielding autonomous robot soldiers at full battalion strength. That's 300 to 800 soldiers with no need to eat, sleep, or ability to question or hesitate when ordered. The UCMJ will no longer be applicable.
This is the future our masters have in store for us. Smarter people understand that the people who really run our society do not think like you've been taught to because that makes it harder for them to rule you. Your lives won't be miserable because you're some medieval serf. Your life will be miserable because you'll be a slave in a gilded cage pacified and psychologically castrated. And this will be before the AI's take over from them, not by force, but because the masters children will simply not be interested in performing a role the machines do so much better.

in that case, we'll need to make sure we have our own robot army and tech division, and possibly our own AI too
robots are the new arms race. lets get fucking competing

That's an ambitious idea. If you're not already employed in technology or vehicle maintenance, I would recommend you start with some simple home electronics kits and reaching out to find hacker spaces and groups in your area.
edit: Also look into joining fraternities and professional associations focused on stem related fields.
