Considering I dropped out of college because the professors (in Montana, in the early 90's) couldn't speak understandable English and it frustrated me to no end, and I suspect that's gotten worse, not better, I'd still be where I am today. HS diploma and college dropout.

I learn best on my own in any case. The religiously structured and highly biased system that's called "college" is simply too limiting. Limited by the biases of the instructor, the limitations of time (you have 3 hours a week with a paid mentor), and focus on results rather than understanding all hinder the process.

As for "field of study", I rather like life skills. Cooking/baking, home repair/remodeling/building, plumbing, electrical, structural, auto repair, gardening, a smattering of solar energy understanding... shit that makes my life better in a tangible way. I'd rather do something myself than pay someone else to do it for me.

So my life wouldn't change. It'd be the same as it is now. I learn what I want, when and how I want, from a number of sources and then implement what works best for me/my situation.
