No sir. Vegas is a unique place in the world, and it is obvious people who go there love it. Gaming isn’t for everyone, but there is plenty to do there if you want great hotels, live entertainment, and good dining. Plenty of people make a good living there.
Used to really like Vegas when it had theme in a lot of the Hotels. It then shifted to being "adult" but that was about 20 years ago. I assume they are going to start promoting it as a family place again soon to try and get more people to visit the area.
It goes in cycles. Once one marketing tactic loses it's appeal, you shift to another one. Vegas is notorious for it.
