Had he been wearing work gloves (a normal requirement) and following procedures, he would not have cut himself. I hope he was piss tested for his negligence. It's wasn't just a sign, it was your 1st amendment right and free speech.

not nice, not nice at all. I understand booby trapping to make a point or make the thief look foolish but that's distructive with the intention of
real harm. I don't find that acceptable at all. It's the person's finger which could be permanently damaged and it's just a sign

In Michigan, probably most States, booby traps are illegal.
