I used many sites to gather the list....including "GET IN THE KNOW Coronavirus: The underlying health conditions that put you at risk of deadly bug" (https://www.the-sun.com/news/485083/coronavirus-the-8-underlying-health-conditions-that-put-you-at-risk-of-deadly-bug/)
"Currently more than 25 million people in the United States have asthma. "
"More than 100 million U.S. adults are now living with diabetes or prediabetes"
"An estimated 103 million U.S. adults have high blood pressure"

Why would being dumb make someone more likely to die from this? Just because they are dumb and not smart enough to take basic precautions? Or is there an immune function component tied to intelligience?

???? not sure, but found this from 2005..." A new study by researchers at the University of California, Davis, M.I.N.D. Institute and the NIEHS Center for Children's Environmental Health demonstrate that children with autism have different immune system responses than children who do not have the disorder. This is important evidence that autism, currently defined primarily by distinct behaviors, may potentially be defined by distinct biologic changes as well." http://www.rxpgnews.com/autism/Children_with_Autism_have_Different_Immune_System__1385_1385.shtml

Plausible. Everything is tied together. Gut function impacts the brain. Brain impacts the gut. The gut is an integral component of the immune system.
