Makes me wonder if Rush isn't permitted to really get behind a candidate early on. I recall that he was not behind ANY of the candidates, really, but he was not bashing any of them either. At least, on the GOP side, that is. And he never once said anything negative about Trump from the day he announced.

from a business perspective, why potentially piss off a sizeable chunk of your audience by actively supporting one candidate over another when ultimately you would support either over hillary anyway.

Absolutely! That's just good thinking, no matter who you support. But I wonder if he doesn't have some constraints, due to being on the radio and having such a large audience... but then, doesn't he make up his own rules? IDK... not much seems to be the way I think it should be, or the way it used to be.
