The E.O. must continue. In every department, FOIAs must be made the highest priority. This means that manpower will be diverted from harmful activities to serving the public. Further, the inspector general of each department must review all FOIA declinations. Should a declination or redaction be legally frivolous, the I.G. must issue a correction and allow the FOIA to fulfilled. The bureaucrat refusing to comply with the FOIA law must be referred for termination. Should a FOIA denial or redaction be less clear, then alternate measures should be used to assess the propriety of denial or redaction.
The so-called manpower does not serve the public now, and it damn sure won't serve the public if/when these harmful ones are sent to a rubber room. The ONLY service that would derive from the process suggested in the piece would be a decrease in damage.
The premise of this article is flawed. Hunting down these consumptive critters is not the answer. Their habitat must be destroyed. Drain the swamp! Evil always flourishes when given the opportunity -- a suitable habitat. The habitat has been built and maintained on the backs -- as in out of the pocketbooks -- of the working and productive ones. As long as the payers keep paying, the takers will keep taking. Period.
Look. Either a true awakening that leads to an uprising of The People who are currently suffering under oppressive tyranny will happen . . . or it won't. Unless or until it does, there will NEVER AGAIN be a government of The People, by The People, and for The People.
