Thank you - I know all about the "poor lending," I was a victim of it. People do not realize that the '08 housing market crash was the largest planned land grab by the US government in our history. My lending company, among many others, was bought out by Ocwen. Ocwen cried uncle, and it was bought out by freddie mac and fannie mae. They cried uncle, and our benevolent government stepped in and took control of them - and still do. While all of this was going on, every credit card company out there turned themselves into banks so they could cash in on the bail out. And we all know who got stuck with the bill. As for my home, Ocwen couldn't legally foreclose on my home because I was smarter than that (not to mention that I had just refinanced two months earlier on a fixed rate), so they started illegally raising my interest rate about every two to three months. I finally had to walk away from the only home my kids had ever known. I was raised poor - like we ate oatmeal for dinner poor. I did what we all thought was the right way to do things: I went into the military, then went to college, worked hard, bought my first home, built a very lucrative business with my now ex, and then had it all robbed from me. After ten years and a lot of prayer, I finally came into the light. My kids still miss home, but I tell them:
John 14:2 King James Version (KJV)
2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
