The beginning of his presidency coincided with an an economy in free fall. We had three months with 800,000 jobs lost. The economy was contracting faster than the first years of the Great Depression.
By the end of his presidency we had the longest streak of consecutive positive monthly job growth in America's history. By any objective measure we were better off in Jan 2017 than Jan 2009. There's simply no question about that.
